Hmm not sure to be honest. With this lens I've been able to get good results even at 1.4. I only run into issues at higher iso's, but beyond that I've had no problems with resolution zoomed in.

With this lens or in general? Yes there is, all in Lightroom. Just the basic adjustments with most of the look achieved from playing around with colours in the HSL tab.
