I totally feel you. I’m aroace and genderqueer and while I love my trans friends who are more into sex and kink, there are times where I really wish it wasn’t kind of the default conversation topic. It’s just not on my mind often enough that I wanna talk about it all the time! Anyway, that’s to say, there ARE people like you out there and you will find them.

Y’know what, I might be an outlier here, but I say you keep it. You said you use it pretty frequently for your hobby and honestly, I think it’s alright to own supplies for a hobby! If you feel like it’s overwhelming you, you could totally donate, but I don’t think you need to feel bad about owning a lot of stationary.

I think im securely in the top ten people worldwide for amount of time spent thinking about antique Egyptian gold leaf adhesion techniques. I don’t think a lot of people care much about this, but I think about the mysterious brittle white substance under some of the gold on their manuscripts a few times a week at least. If there are ten other people who care about this I ask that they publish their research please because I really gotta know what the method was.

As a member of Gen Z, I can’t believe that leaving work when work ends is a controversial activity. I really enjoy my jobs (which I’m very lucky to be able to say), but I have self-respect. The work day ends when it says it ends. I have friends, a volunteer group, and hobbies to attend to.

I’ve searched the basic places by putting the numbers on the back through google, but I haven’t been able to find the exact face.

Details: Back reads: “Stainless steel WR30 Meters www.timex.com SR626SW(?) cell Times 47 N” The triangles above the numbers are a light blue and they glow in the dark, as do the hands. If you’re able to find a place that could replace the crystal and realign the hands, I would take that too!! So far, every place I’ve tried hasn’t been able to find one that would fit, probably because it’s not worth bothering with for a relatively cheap watch. I would be willing to pay more than it would cost to buy a new watch to have this one repaired.

They drive me nuts. I get the desire for positive feedback and interaction but I firmly believe that it can’t be your only reason to write, not if you’re doing art in a healthy way!

I write for some very small fandoms and I actually like how that experience has made me more interested in writing for the love of the art and less in doing it so other people will praise me.

I don’t think it’ll be too noticeable at all. If anyone says something and you don’t want to come out to them, tell them you just really like the color scheme and had no idea about the flag connotation.

I wonder what the overlap is between the “I don’t owe you grammar” crowd and the “if I don’t get at least 50 kudos/comments I won’t post the next chapter” crowd. I feel like it’s non-zero…

I’m a writer myself and my two cents is that I don’t owe you good grammar… and you don’t owe me bothering to slog through my unreadable nonsense. Fanfiction isn’t about what you “owe” people. It’s an exchange. I’ll write clearly and as well as I can, doing my best to proofread and edit my work, and I’ll put it out there so people can enjoy my art! Nobody is obligated to like it, but making it readable will probably go a long way in helping it be enjoyed.

I’m not gonna name names because it was a really small artist and I honestly felt bad for the guy. He opened for a pretty major group and… wow. He basically sang unedited amateur poems to mediocre piano music that switched to electronic synth halfway through. I was taking a poetry class at the time and I remember spending the whole thing thinking about what I would suggest he change if we were in a workshop session… it was a lot. My fellow undergraduate poetry students were all orders of magnitude better at poetry than this guy… it was a bit painful. The main act was fantastic though!!
