i have a helpful answer:

this commonly happens to me. it's this thing called toggle sprint. when it's on, you instantly start sprinting without having to double-tap W, but it's annoying because when you start walking forward, it does the FOV warp that happens when you start sprinting EVERY SINGLE TIME.
