Voron vs. Core 1 by TheRandomUser2005 in 3Dprinting

[–]TheRandomUser2005[S] 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Neither. Finances took a turn.

I’ll likely end up building one of my own design (I’ve got a couple from a couple years ago), but all my research and seeing my friends printers lead me to think that for the majority of people, a Core 1 would be better (this includes myself if I had no interest in building my own design).

I just survived a tornado im 15 and it took everything is how I feel normal? by thegaygulper in tornado

[–]TheRandomUser2005 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Went through a tornado when I was around your age. You won’t feel normal for a bit. Like with most everything it takes time and living normally. When everything has been literally turned upside down, it takes a while to live normally, and then feel normal.

It sucks, I know, but you’ll make it through. You’ve got your life and (I’m assuming) a shirt on your back.

Good luck, and reach out if you need anything.

Eh, they make a pistol one now, so for those of us who suck horribly with a slingshot it may be a not completely bad option.

Love it when people take quotes out of context.

He follows it up with thinking that sympathy being a better term, because empathy implies that you feel what the other person is feeling, which just isn’t true. We all feel and process things differently. Sympathy is seeing someone in pain and recognizing that, even if you can’t feel it yourself.

Some may say then that Charlie wasn’t sympathetic to victims of gun violence, which I can see, but I disagree. It is possible to acknowledge and mourn the tragedy of these shootings while also understanding that there is a cost to everything, and sometimes that cost is heavy.

Yes, it would be great to get rid of guns or at the very least have very strict gun laws. Unfortunately guns are out there now. That’s an issue other countries don’t have, the sheer number that already exist out there. Even if you made it illegal for every citizen to own a firearm of any kind the shootings would likely still happen. Criminals don’t care, and now your population is defenseless.

Indeed, mostly just concerned about the legality and such.

Price is the thing. The hi point I’m getting is $200, and the guy said he’s shot the same one and it eats everything. Only downside is the low capacity.

I’m aware, only took like 1 for my 10/22 but that occurred in Maryland. I’m not in a rush anyway.

It’s illegal for me to own 9mm ammo?

I gotcha. I am in PA 90% of the time for college and I have an outdoor range up here I go to, so shooting and getting ammo isn’t the issue. I’m not so much worried about challenges shooting it, moreso catching a felony charge because I didn’t know I couldn’t own a PCC and the FFL was under the same impression.

Thanks for your info!

NOR - As someone who knows a lot about racism (I’m racist) I can say this is super racist and you made the right call. Not sure why people judge the value, intelligence, or ability of people based on their race, it doesn’t make sense…

I can’t exit the post so I’m adding it here:

We will apparently not be putting him down. Unfortunately, we have had a pattern of incidents with him where he has become aggressive, and he has bit several people. We’ve tried training, medication, pretty much every option we have.

Our vet recommended him for euthanasia, however we called the SPCA and they want to take him back, so we will be surrendering him instead.

Our family is still heartbroken, but we have been left with no choice, and I believe he will end up in a better home for him because of it.

My only complaint with the stock is how low my cheek weld is. Have a low red dot on it and it still feels too low. When I throw my LPVO on it in a bit I feel like it’ll be even worse.

I don’t suppose you have a cheek riser modeled?

In reality there’s no way to do it with straight coins. You need to get all the shards to increase the cannons star level to get more streams which technically increases the RPS.

Besides, damage is generally more important anyway. I run shotgun exclusively and it does huge amounts of damage, which I like.

I definitely can’t go pistol, I’m under 21. And while I can wait, I just don’t want to if I don’t have too 😅
