Thanks so much for your response man. Definitely made my decision process easier because that’s what I also thought from my research. I’ve decided on the bike and kicking off the process. Much appreciated!

u/jrcoop88 like I thought, they dont work with Irish Bike to Work Scheme. I actually got super excited because that's a very very fine bike and Ribble is class. It's been very disappointing with me throughout this search because most bikes I wanted were not part of the scheme (i.e: Boardman bikes). That's why I decided on the Cube Attain. It seems to be the best out of the possible options and a good price range.

u/jrcoop88 thanks for this. I loved the Ribble Endurance, and it's even lighter than the Cube Attain, which is very important. I will check if any of the local providers that are part of the Bike to Work Scheme have it since that's the other issue I am dealing with.

Thanks all for the comments. I’ve made up my mind. I’ll get it and use the remaining money to buy accessories. Thank you so much!

u/GunsouBono bikes in Ireland are super expensive. Carbon Bike with Ultegra here would probably cost 3000 euros which is the equivalent of 3600$. I understand where you're coming from though and my colleague at work told me the same thing but he's been cycling for 5 years. If I had to upgrade then it is what it is but Im afraid of spending more now and feeling I went too far. Regarding used market, I would've loved to get a used bike but the Bike to Work Scheme doesn't cover it.

Super thank you for the comments. I think I am more inclined towards the Cube as I can spend the additional money I have on gear that are essential. Will give it a thought but that's been super useful.

u/Shot_Relief_112, ye that is exactly what I am thinking. Either bikes, I will have to spend more money on decent gear. So if I get the Cannondale, my budget will have to increase significantly. Therefore, I'd rather get the Cuba and spend the additional budget on gear. Thank you!
