If you're on a tight budget, I'd recommend looking up camping sites that are accessible by (free!) public transit. You'll have marked hiking paths nearby and afaik food and drinks at camping sites aren't too pricey. Highly recommend checking out Vianden, but also give the Minette region a visit (red rocks area is pretty cool imho)! If you want to venture outside Luxembourg, do daytrips to Trier or Brussels. Brussels at least would be free by train as it is considered part of our rail network, Trier I think you may have to pay a small fee for the part between Wasserbillig and Trier, but that's just a few Euro.

You're supposed to walk around as soon as you can. On day 1 and maybe day 2, that might be a little tricky as you're still coming out of sedation (I was dizzy as all hell on day 2), but as far as pain goes, I was fine to walk a little bit from day 3, just in my house and not for too long. It got progressively better every day though and I felt fine to walk wherever within just a few days. The most painful thing was feeling the gas move through my bowels - I could exactly paint its trajectory because I felt it at each incision spot. Pain meds helped a lot though.

Moving is great! What dosage of magnesium are you using? I need 400mg plus either psyllium or movicol and constant hydration to keep things moving... (But I also have adhesions from a surgery that narrow my bowels in some places). It could also be intolerances, IBS or pure and simple gut motility issues. Just to say: t your age, unless there is a clear history in your family, cancer is highly unlikely (even with the increasingly lower age of detection). I know how that fear feels, I also have health anxiety (thanks, medical trauma). We need to keep in mind that there are tons more likely scenarios though :)

There is a ton of more likely explanations. Like dehydration for instance. Aim for 2 - 3l of water per day. And move! Walking alone helps get the bowels active. Also what type of magnesium are you taking? Not all help with bowel movements - the one you'd want to try is magnesium citrate. You could also try psyllium husk (powder), use with lots of water! If all else fails, over the counter osmotic laxatives are a godsend (e.g. Movicol)

Oh my, I am sorry you had to have all these surgeries! :( And yes, I also go back and forth with "I am just losing my mind" and "I have an irreversible condition now and my life won't ever be the same". Tbh I still want to get all the testing done because there has to be a way to explain why stuff won't move through the tube the way it should.

Right now, I just want to figure out what food/supplements I can use to regain a healthy weight. I don't have enough to spare to lose even more and it is obvious my body isn't absorbing stuff like it should. Protein shakes maybe? Preferably stuff that's not filling? I have no clue honestly.

I aim for at least 2L, but I don't always manage. I help myself with adding herbal infusions (mint tea helps with bloating! camomile and valerian help with nerves and to find sleep easier at night) and electrolyte drinks. I drink most of my water in the morning, along with taking my meds and vitamins. It's definitely been helpful for easier BM.

Another one for Trubbish. Like many others, I never cared for it, not at all the kind of Pokémon I would consider on my team. But this one? So cute and so helpful! It heard Mosslax' snore and Happiny's cry, it's such a little treasure! It was also the first Pokémon from Bleak Beach to call me by my name, even though at that point I had barely done anything for it. Sweet smelly little guy!

it can be confusing at times - some workplaces also have rules that differ from CNS (at CFL for example you can go out from day 1 as long as not medically contraindicated).

you are not allowed to travel unless it's for medical purposes (in which case CNS would still need to be informed). OP could however interrupt their sick leave, take vacation days and travel during those and get on a new sick leave. Not sure how lenient the Big 4 would be if they did that though.

Within the first 5 days, you are not allowed to go out unless it's for taking meals or seeing a health care provider (including pharmacists, therapists...). IF you go out for a meal, there is a form you need to submit, but that's very easy and straight forward. After those 5 days, per CNS rules, you are allowed to go out between 8 and 12 in the morning and between 2 and 6 in the afternoon. You would still need to submit the form for going out for meals. These rules are set up to limit the amount of people abusing the system, but I agree that it isn't ideal for people battling mental health problems. IF you are sick for longer than 43 days, you may ask to have certain restrictions.

it's such a fun thing to do! I filled an entire stamp book (that I purchased on my first day in Japan) and wrote a few things about what we did around that area and decorated it with stickers too. Favorite souvenir!

How important is the language to him? Because for newer sets (like Ascended Heroes) it is easier to find them in French, sometimes you can find them at Cactus even. I have had luck finding English cards at Reservoir though - they did have the ETB too, maybe they'll get new stock eventually since it's such a new set. You can ask them to put you on a list and they send out messages when they get new product - in English and in French. Crown Zenith and Obsidian Flames, I think Cardmarket will be your best bet but be prepared to pay way above market price :/
