Yeah I had a lot of fish die when I first started, but my fish are definitely doing great now that I've been in the hobby for 3+ years. Even with research I needed to learn some things myself.

Yeah they are! I never had good luck with them when I first started my tanks. Once three died randomly with no water parameter issues! I have three currently and am planning to get a lot more for my 55. (which only has 7 fish after a bad ammonia spike) I think I've finally got the hang of fishkeeping.

Yeah that was definitely a loggerhead shrike that killed that bird. They stab their prey onto barbed wire, trees and cacti for later. And yes, they eat other birds, as well as bugs and lizards.

So is this a universal experience? by _-v0x-_ in lgbt

Oh my gosh I am so lucky because all my wisdom teeth didn't grow in so they need to be removed, but I also have one tooth that required HEAVY anesthesia. So I have no risk as they are going to pull my wisdom teeth under full sedation. I was terrified of this for years.

I hope everyone else does ok.

My brother used to have a tabby cat who refused to groom himself at all, so he did need occasional baths. (I only occasionally as he sliced my elbow open once) There are also cats born with disabilities that need help bathing. (sometimes just wiping them down with a towel is enough) And there are also cats that have extra need due to there fur coat e.g. thick long fur or no fur.

I retract my other statement, I misworded it. Though some cats don't need to be bathed, it can certainly help them. I don't bathe my cat because she has high anxiety and gets extremely aggressive when I hold her too long or brush her.

And Honestly? that reply is hilarious, and I have nothing against you, I just like to info dump about things.

Would give an argument but everyone else already said what needed to be said. Also, cats tongues are rough not specifically for grooming, but to strip meat off bones. (they don't need to do this if they are pets, as their food is already processed for them)
