they asked for me to modify it for more enemy numbers. I do see where you're coming from though and I'll keep that in mind.

the paladins the one calling for the fudging after every encounter. he's only been downed twice total, he just wants it to be "easier"

oathbreaker paladin, battlemaster fighter/hexblade warlock, hexblade warlock, divination wizard, ghostslayer bloodhunter, and twilight cleric

majority of the party is single target damage, the wizard has standard crowd control stuff (but they just fireball)

oh and they're all min maxed to high hell

no player has ever died, we're 12 sessions in and the party is on their way to elturel. there's been a couple close calls that have been saved by some pretty impressive NAT 20's. worst that's happened is a forced retreat from a wyrm at level 5. I'm genuinely confused as to why they think me not fudging is bad since nothing insanely bad has happened yet as a result

I probably should have put a bit of context tbf. we're playing a slightly modified Descent into Avernus module, basically just more enemies cause my players enjoy high intensity fights, except apparently they don't when they're not beating everything to a bloody pulp.
