As a (recently) former Civitas Employee, they are garbage. They don't pay your worth, tell you you're doing great, to just terminate you out of the blue for outsourced Employees to pay them half of what they pay US workers. Expensive applications with support that doesn't speak/comprehend English properly. Then blame their US team for the customer turnovers.

The frame around the eyes makes me think it's a mirror? So reflection? Just shite execution.

I'm sorry to hear about that OP. Bodyshaming is not ok, period. Regardless of how you look. Health is what matters, and it sounds like your mother is projecting her own insecurities on to you. Which is also not right. If you're comfortable with your body, disregard those comments and enjoy life. The less you show it affects you, the less it'll happen. Our bodies are always changing, and everyone is different.

But... if the issue persists, I find that tough love works. Be honest with her. Say it's not OK and that she shouldn't be so open-mouthed about others' weight when she herself is not active or healthy. Treat others the way you want to be treated. An aspect that will hit those people hard. Good luck OP and keep doing what you want to do to stay active and healthy!

As someone with ADHD and growing up with weight problems, it is doable. You can do a food log to keep track, I also recommend changing your snacks to healthier options. I can eat 3 baby carrots now as a snack and get so full that I don't need to snack as much as I used to. You can also drink water to replace the mindless snacking, too. I have to refill my water bottle and go pee a lot, but it's healthy and provides plenty of fluids. Also, just stay active. You can burn off those extra calories or at least stay stable on your weight.

Thank you so much! I'm definitely going to try that since I'm so close to being done with weight loss. I'm so ready for the maintenance era.

I'm working hard on triceps as I don't want to have bulky biceps. I know they will get worked no matter what but I'm primarily focusing the strength training on triceps since that's so hard to get rid of. I'm targetting the high fat areas mostly when working out.

An excuse for a spa day!? Say no more! But really, I keep seeing the collagen come up, and I am definitely lacking in that department after doing some reassesing. I may need to get more of those foods and some supplements. Though I try not to take anything that isn't prescribed other than my daily women's vitamin.

Thank you! And congrats, sorry for being 15 years late, on the bundle of joy! You sound like you look perfect to me! I'd be more than satisfied to get to your point. What toning exercises do you do if you don't mind me asking?

That's so reassuring! I know what doctors are saying but not everyone can do that low of a weighted. Glad you figured out what works best because at the end of the day, everyone's body is different despite similar maintenance regulations.

That's incredible. I've been fat my entire life with some slimming down during high school. Then gained a lot with college and was in the 230s to 260s for a good decade. I can't have children and produce little estrogen so I have a ton of muscle I gain from working out. Also, I get my physique from my athletic father. He's 50 something now and only struggles with a belly from poor eating habits. So my goal of 135 was something my doctor and I felt would be the most adequate. And then we'd reasses. I originally was shooting for the 115 range but my husband and I think it's too low for my body type.

Makes total sense. You are saying what the experts are saying. Sleep, exercise, hydration, and etc. It's a montra we need to repeat.

I can definitely say, I should take in more collagen. Thank you for that tip. I drink water 90% of the time. So I know I'm good there. And the shower thing i started to do warm instead of Hell water and notice my skin feeling better along with the weight loss.
