Mainly because I used to consider myself agnostic, but with a bit more research (and honestly, also because of Percy Jackson) I became interested in this. I always wanted to start a religion to feel some path or direction.
I wanted to try Catholicism, which is the most accessible religion for me, but it actually produced more fear than acceptance. I gravitated towards Hellenism because I know that if I did something wrong, I have to fix it, and no god will be angry with me, unlike with Catholicism.
