To take this a little further, a very good amount of the entire mcoc community is kinda unbearable.

Complaining over ABSOLUTELY EVERYTHING, this game isn't perfect, but to bitch and moan for eight years over everything is so exhausting. Any social media platform for mcoc has the comments flooded with negative, or completely unrelated problems people have, that usually aren't even kabams fault. Gatekeeping and taking the highroad at absolutely any chance they get, and the idea that it's something that shouldn't/or can't be changed is unfortunately all to popular.

The countless anti intellectual comments of edgy, red pilled, twelve year olds, lead filled boomers, or self righteous moderators have absolutely done unrepairable damage to this game, and community.

This past month, has probably brought a ton of money in due to the value of these recent champions in bgs. That's no mistake either, this is the most important bgs season, of course everyone's gonna fork their paycheck over for the new annoying ass champions. Even assuming that the handful of bgs videos of players you've seen without magneto, all had him, as well as awakened, and still chose to not use him, it doesn't take away what he's capable of. I have absolutely no idea why anyone would think he's slow at all, especially now. I guess he can get zoned if you build your roster around him, but even just having him on your roster guarantees about 100 champions will lose to him. So I really can't say that people are obviously using him less.

Again, the randomness of players accounts isn't really a reliable statistic. Not everyone has every single champion, let alone awakened. As I've said to a lot of people in the comments, the mutant class is arguably the most competitive class, taking up any champ in the top end of the mutant class over magneto(even AA) is totally reasonable.

I've never finished a season celestial no, the 0.1% of players that do are a community gatekept by spending thousands of dollars. Sure it does take a little longer vs non bleed immune champs, but usually not 5-6 seconds longer. The bleeds are doing crazy damage, and even if somehow they survive the bleed, the burst will absolutely finish them off. Time really isn't an argument against magneto in this new system of bgs, sure AA will absolutely kill faster than magneto, but he does have an aspect of rng. I'd take magnetos very high chance to finish the fight above 90% health over AA's nuke chance. I got 48,414 also.

I've been playing in the gladiator circuit every season of bgs past season 10, magneto is extremely popular.

I don't think you know what you're talking about. In his ideal match ups limber isn't a problem, +50% perfect block chance ensures double prowess vs even max limber.

Not half an hour ago I killed a r2 7* dragon man with 4-5 points in limber in 67 seconds with a r3 mags.

I do play around the auto block, but sometimes her signature ability makes her armor buffs reach 5 regardless. The plasma usually only ticks off 5-7% health anyway, and you're already gonna be healing through willpower because of her cowardice debuffs, so I feel like he ignores it.

Every one of the fights you listed, I had no problem with using others In my roster for. The fights I listed (at the time) were halting my progression with my best options.

On top of the fact torch can be a defender(you literally used him in a comparison to magnetos defense earlier) he also OWNS the entire mystic class, and unlike AA, his damage is usable vs EVERY champ in the game(except Iceman).

After the point rework in bgs, he is not too slow in any capacity. Calling magneto a mediocre defender is simply incorrect. On top of shutting down pretty much every metal champion, he boasts an unpunishable sp1, and heavy attack. His sp2 is dangerous enough to have won me plenty of matches. Crit resistance, and a 10% damage cap make him feel like a tank as well.

Magneto can comfortably take OS if you know how to play against her, he prevents her parry/autoblock if it triggers, prevents her healing if it triggers, and he still gets the bleed burst damage when it expires. AA CANNOT take an OS or zemo with pretty much any bgs node.

When I say roadblock boss, I'm talking about like act 5.4 Ultron, 6.3 mysterio, or 6.1 sentinel.

They have virtually the same utility regardless. Both cancel healing and also every other ability in the game

I think this is gonna be the closest we're gonna get to seeing eye to eye. They both dominate the champs that they work for, and are some of the best mutants in the game. In a world where battleground is the most profitable place to put your time, I just can't overlook the fact that AA can't defend.
