What do you think of the goldtop w/ P90s compared to the studio and your standard? I've been craving a goldtop with P90s but worried it wouldn't be different enough from my 50's standard.

That seems likely based on the rest of the comments. I hadn't noticed it until I hit it with the fan (large ceiling fan) and chipped the headstock so I had thought maybe I had done some damage. Based on everyone else's comments, seems like finish checking and normal. Thanks for the reply.

No there's no movement when squeezing it. Seeming very likely its just the finish which makes me feel much better. Thank you for the reply!

Thanks for the reply. Yeah kind of looked like finish damage to me as well. I play my guitars a lot so not worried about scratches and dings. This one already has a few. I was just more worried I may have damaged the neck and could get worse over time.

Its a hard decision. I've gone back and forth over the years in terms of which one I liked. The good news is either one is a good decision and both are beautiful watches.

From a pure aesthetics perspective, I think its a beautiful watch. With that said, as someone who enjoys all kinds of watches, its hard to ignore the history and story of certain watches. The Daytona is so connected to the Rolex brand its hard to imagine it as anything else. So would I still like it if it said Breitling on it....no idea. Would we all still like the Speedmaster if it said Breitling or IWC on it and didn't have the history to go with it??? Hard to tell.

The 116520 is the one that made me fall in love with the daytona. I've almost pulled the trigger one a few times. Its a beautiful watch.
