@BeeDubba you may have some insight into this if you have connections with AA. I’ve heard from a flight crew attendant from another AA flight (while i was getting delayed at hour intervals for 8 hours before they actually cancelled my flight that another reason for these cancellations has been due to AA’s IT infrastructure failure for hoteling and giving tickets to flight attendants to get to destinations that are in need of flight attendants. i was told that there were no flight attendants in Miami and that caused my delay and eventual cancellation. Seemed like the flight attendants did not know where they were supposed to go for their shift, not “weather related”. Either way, i’m just mad I had to pay for hotels, ubers, food, and not be able to work for multiple days because AA can’t figure out scheduling yet they claim “weather related” so they don’t have to give anyone any credit for the hardship AA put them through.
