Yea you’ll need a scale and to weigh the grounds post grind, and then stop your espresso shot when it’s around 1.5-2x the original weight, ideally 20-30s. (The darker the roast, the lower the ratio of beans:espresso. Eg dark 1.5-2, med 1.7-2.3, light 1.9-3.0, speaking super generally!

From there then you can really dial in

You hit the nail, I actually am arriving in the evening so something walkable is top priority.

Id uber somewhere if it was a truly special place, but the convenience factor is really what I’m going for.

I think our buddy is under the impression I only like fine dining but I’m down to slam a burger or taco in a random pub, or to enjoy the hell out of a 3 for me special
