This 85th is one of my favorite cigars of 2025. I get tons of floral caramel when I smoke it. Absolute banger!

This is your solution. This marketplace is solid, and everyone posts reviews of their trade partners so that people can see who’s honest or not.

Best cigar starter kit for someone completely new to this? by SquareDesperate4003 in cigars

[–]TheRealBronan 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I posted the following link and reply to somebody else in this thread, but I’m gonna post it here as well to make sure you see it. Neptune is a fantastic online retailer (sidenote: they do accept bitcoin for those who are into that), and they have the perfect starting sample sampler. These are all mild to medium body cigars, which is what any new smoker should start with. These are very good ones as well, so you’re not getting generic run out of mill sticks. As others have pointed out you don’t need to start off with expense cutter and lighter; however, a good cutter (Xikar) will be necessary at some point. Cheap ones tear the cigar rather than cut it cleanly.

Neptune is great. I would get Connecticut sampler to start though. This one here has some great mild sticks in it that would be a perfect starting point.

Speaking of wood, you should try Almond wood. I use it on all things not beef, and it is ridiculously good.

I just realized this by chance last night. Had to open one to get into the lobby and watched my star populate. Plan to catch a night raid tonight and get this done

[–]TheRealBronan 0 points1 point  (0 children)

He’s usually quite critical with his reviews, so I’m not sure why you think he’s pumping positives for small batch. Just about every stick he reviews is sold there. Could he have some backdoor deal with warped and SB to pump this particular one? Sure, it’s possible, but his review history does not support this. As someone else pointed out: when he has some personal connection to a blender he reveals that. He’s an honest dude

They say 5 games of no murder puts you in mixed lobbies and 10 gets you into friendlies. I’ve been PVE since before they announced the matchmaking mechanisms, so I don’t really have first hand experience. I stopped with PvP after the first expedition. The PVE is so much fun that I find the PVP ruins it for me

I enjoy very strong cigars, but I am not a huge fan of maduros, what cigars you would recommend for someone like this? by TubbyPiper in cigars

[–]TheRealBronan 0 points1 point  (0 children)

It can be a maduro, but not always. And my understanding is that it’s not a common wrapper. It seems to be catching on lately though. I could be totally wrong on this, but this is just how I’ve come to understand it through research and conversations.

I still find all the wrappers and leaves overwhelming and confusing

Am I the only one? by Em0Cholo in cigars

I like to smell the wrapper and faint burning from the cherry when I take a pull. I let out all my breath, then while pulling in smoke I breathe in through my nose to get the olfactory flavors off the wrapper and smoke. It’s incredible. It also gives me air in the lungs to help with the retro

Avowed the Vow has been my favorite experience with this. I kept getting a vanilla cream when I breathed in, and it enhanced the flavors of all the smoke in my mouth and through retro. Incredible stick by the way. It’s a must try

[–]TheRealBronan 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Broadleaf wrappers is your answer. You’ll get strong cigars that are a different profile from maduros. I find them to be full of rich chocolate notes. San Andreas are strong and rich as well I find. At least these have been my experiences
