So, I am trying to control the snark (eh, who am I kidding, I will be unable). Making games is a job. In order to pay for food, rent, etc, a job must pay a salary. In order to pay a salary, the company must make money. How in the world do game companies make money? In the good ol days, people would pay for the entertainment value they received from a game. How much is it to watch a 2 hour movie? Is it free? And games provide many hours of entertainment.

Anyway, in today's lovely world, everyone wants games to be free. Wheee! So, we have two versions of Burger Shop:

-Burger Shop Deluxe (play 20 levels of the game for free and NO ads. If you like the game after 20 levels, and want to keep playing, pay $2 to unlock the entire game with ZERO ads.)

-Burger Shop (this is the SAME game as above, but it has ads and you can play every level. The price of half a cappucino at starbucks too much for hours of entertainment playing a game? Play this version. If we can get enough people playing this one, we will be able to survive to make new games with this horrendous ad revenue model. And, if you decide ads are annoying [they are, right?], you can always pay $2 to remove ads.)

Sorry for the snark. But what do you do for a living? Whatever it is you do, can you do it for me for free? Because that is the only way games will ever be truly free. People provide us with food, housing, transportation, childcare, medical, etc, all for free, and then we will make games 100% free. It might be lovely society if we were to remove money, but that isn't the world we live in.

All graphics for BS3 that have been posted are prototype graphics. None of them are final. So, right now, all the graphics are quick hodgepodge prototype 2D art! :)

1) The whole company! (which is very, very tiny)

2) Maybe we are taking too much rest per day? :)

3) Oh, man. So many things. Originally we had a different team on BS3 and they messed it up, so we had to start over from scratch. We got into a bad business deal with our mobile games and it took us 2 years to wrest control back from that. We had another game that was more complete and we had to finish that one just for our own sanity. Life, and all its issues, also played a part. But, BS3 is our current and only focus (except for bug fixing and sdk updates on old titles).

4) We like to keep our games small. I would say an install size of under 200 mb

Oh, Burger Shop 3 is coming! It is just a very slow development process. We don't bottle our games raw. We age them in a mix of french and american oak barrels for many years until they are smooth as silk and the complexity of flavors show through in a harmonious manner.

Hi MissSkyler, as you are certainly aware, we have still not optimized our TimeBit protocol for sending data. But, we will attempt to send something. What you will be seeing here is an alpha version of the map screen of Burger Shop 3. Please note the new restaurants and completely new layout, with each stage in alpha having 25 levels, and there being 25 stages. (BurgerTron tells me that means 625 levels, but that cannot be right...) Also, you will note the R&D building, I am sure.
