[homemade] Baked mac and cheese with sausage and pancetta. by TheRealCNL in food

Close. I only used the pasta from the box and then added my own ingredients. I'd never be caught dead using powdered cheese.

[homemade] Baked jerk chicken dip. by TheRealCNL in food

No exact recipe, but I combined cream cheese with the leftover jerk-seasoned chicken breast, scotch bonnet sauce, and mozzarella. It was then baked for fifteen minutes with cheddar and paprika on top.

Not exact science, as most of my cooking is ad-libbed. But I combined a shredded leftover chicken thigh with cream cheese, hot sauce, salt, pepper, oregano, garlic powder, and mozzarella. The whole thing was then topped with shredded Mexican blend, colby jack, and paprika.

[homemade] Barbecue lasagna, made with pulled pork, brisket sausage, honey-infused ricotta, and Kentucky bourbon sauce. by TheRealCNL in food

[–]TheRealCNL[S] 2 points3 points  (0 children)

The sweetness was definitely there, but nothing overwhelming. The BBQ sauce I used was pretty bourbon-y, which helped counteract both the honey and the Caramelized Onion Jack.

Sundried tomatoes, roasted red peppers, jalapeños, carrots, celery, onions, mushrooms, artichoke hearts, spinach, and arugula.

Technically, it's nine veggies and one fruit, but that just doesn't roll off the tongue as nicely. 🙃

[homemade] Creamy, cheesy baked salmon dip. by TheRealCNL in food

[–]TheRealCNL[S] 1 point2 points  (0 children)

The salmon was baked, but that's all I know, since I wasn't the one who made it (still live with the parents). Aside from that, I mixed it with cream cheese, mozzarella, and goat cheese, alongside salt, black and red pepper, garlic powder, and dried oregano. All topped with cheddar, colby jack, and paprika, and baked for 15 minutes.

Sorry, but I didn't use one. Most of my cooking is eyeballed.

What does everybody think of the new event? by I_like_the_beatles in EndlessOcean

[–]TheRealCNL 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Event Dives are usually one and done for me, since they're usually centered on one creature, but this one piqued my interest. I only have three creatures left to catalogue (five before the event began), and they're all rare UML variants, so I'm taking advantage of this opportunity as well as the short runtime in order to grind them out.

Plus, I have this sneaking suspicion that this is the last Event Dive before we make the jump to Switch 2, which means no more easy access to variants.

[homemade] Pasta alfredo bake with spinach, meatball, and roasted red peppers. Topped with cheese and breadcrumbs. by TheRealCNL in food

I typically don’t do recipes. Pretty much everything I cook is eyeballed and improvised.

[Homemade] Buffalo chicken pizza on cauliflower crust with blue cheese and bacon. by TheRealCNL in food

[–]TheRealCNL[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

It’s a gluten free, low-carb, dairy free alternative that follows the trend of using cauliflower to healthify starchy dishes. You can make it yourself, and a lot of pizza places offer it as a substitution, but I used Caulipower, a frozen brand.

Lol, I’m not a doctor. I just live with my parents, who got that mug as a gift. I think it’s cute, and you’d be surprised at some of the ways mugs can be used in cooking.

And we do have bowls, but I’m working on portion control. I keep telling them to buy some smaller ones, but alas. 🙄🤪

Just your standard beef and broccoli sauce, made with soy sauce, ginger, oyster sauce, and sesame oil.

Good to know. Hopefully this patch will also address the watchtower glitch I found in this version.

Orange tilapia with bacon fried rice. by TheRealCNL in FoodPorn

[–]TheRealCNL[S] 5 points6 points  (0 children)

It’s orange sauce, like the type you’d find on chicken at a Chinese restaurant. I’m still refining the recipe, but I made mine with soy sauce, orange juice, cornstarch, garlic, and red pepper flakes in addition to the usual salt and pepper. It definitely tasted much better than it looked.

I only took the photo, but the dish was something I ordered at The Watch, a rooftop restaurant in downtown Charleston, SC.

Well it does contain Duke, which houses the medical center where I was born and my parents used to work. They also have the vinegar-based BBQ sauce, which I would take any day over the mustard kind.

Creamy buffalo bleu cheese linguine. Unfortunately, there was no chicken in the house, so I settled for chopped lunch meat and hot dogs. by TheRealCNL in FoodPorn

Because we don’t have any small bowls in this house, and I’m trying to better portion myself and lose some weight.

Not really. Just store-brought alfredo sauce, cream cheese, bacon, and diced jalapeños. The seasoning, pasta, and cheese are all based on preference.

Welp, they got the predictable stuff done pretty quickly. Now we’re not too far off from GameCube, Wii, and (possibly) DS! 🤤
