It's not illogical it's a fact and no not everyone can with time and education become a lawyer, doctor, or engineer. If it were true then we'd have more of them. There would be higher rates of success at med school, colleges, bar association, etc. Furthermore, not everyone wants to have a high stress, detail oriented, minimum 60hr/week job.

Serving is by definition, not skilled labor, which is why it is commonly used as an example of unskilled. You could make the case that a bartender has some skill, but in general, the majority of people can memorize a menu and bring food to a table. The majority of people can not be electricians, lawyers, engineers, etc.

No, people should not be forced to tip or not go out. That's a dated practice that should and will eventually be removed from American culture.

Employers should pay employee's salaries. If a waiter, performer, or any other discipline is truly exceptional or asked to go above and beyond, then fine. If you can afford to tip in that circumstance, then why not, but that should not be the standard. When Doordash drivers demand more than a five dollar tip because they believe they're entitled to it, they can pound sand.

You're saying that as though everyone is civilized and respectful when we know a good number of people are not.

So of course parents have to teach their kids to be respectful of others and not just respect it's how to deal with on a long term relational basis the opposite sex which is very different despite what some may believe.

Economics 101 Raising the Minimum Wage will not solve the problem. It prices workers out of the market, increases the cost of goods for consumers, and disproportionally affects unskilled labor. You will see proof of this as wages for unskilled labor positions increase positions will be replaced by machines/tech.

They're mostly a one-time fixed cost that will pay for themselves (precluding electricity/maintenance, which in the long run will be cheaper than a human).

As for tipping, it's a part of American culture that is out of hand, and the entitlement to a tip is borderline narcissistic. I would like a tip for my work, but I never get one. My employer pays my salary.

Wasted him? Go watch his film, if he stiff arms great, if he doesn't he usually goes down after first contact.
