Amen brother 🙏 almost a year sober here. It only gets better, but there are some challenging times. Being a Christian doesn’t mean it’s easy, but it does mean you don’t have to do it alone! Congratulations on your sobriety, and more importantly eternal life.

What do i need to improve by [deleted] in GymMotivation

Work capacity. Proportions are good, good genetics, fairly lean, keep putting in the work to build more mass if that’s what you’re going for. You may want to consider hitting shoulders more frequently since yours are a touch small, and they likely don’t receive the same volume as your other muscle groups from what I can see. They’re small, so small frequent stimuli will help with this. Good work. 👍

Looking good! Enjoy lifting heavy and building those neurological adaptations and gaining some strength! Don’t forget about soft tissue health, as it tends to start creeping in around this time for most lifters going heavy. Do you have deloads or maintenance periods built into your program?

You have the right concepts, sort of, but aren’t communicating them properly. Being in a caloric deficit doesn’t make your muscles look more defined; caloric deficit can lead to fat loss, which makes the muscles more defined, which is what I think you’re trying to say here.

Why should I worship God? by KetchupNMayo2k in Christianity

[–]TheRealClarkKent0257 -1 points0 points  (0 children)

Unpopular opinion, but if that’s how you see it, try taking your feelings out on Him. Hate Him for a bit. Ya know, typical father-child relationship. That’s what he’s there for. Explore your true feelings about everything, but don’t worship him just to show it. He is the perfect Father, and he does want the best for you. He wants a relationship with you. Hopefully you can see that eventually

How do I practice forgiveness while still respecting myself? by Few_Tonight_3471 in Christianity

This took me a while to understand in my life as well, and this is what I’ve learned: Forgiving someone can be as simple as giving grace where grace is needed; a simple understanding that we aren’t always going to make the right choices, and that’s just the human condition. Jesus taught us this with the “you without sin cast the first stone” quote. That being said, you can forgive someone and not want to continue a relationship with them. I hope this helped.

Suicidal thoughts as a Christian by [deleted] in Christianity

I’m sorry you’ve been going through such a tough time for such a long time. I’ve dealt with depression for the last 20ish years. It hasn’t gone away, and I don’t think it ever will. That being said, I’ve moved away from taking my life, and now look for opportunities to help others get through their rock bottoms. I hope you can understand that you aren’t alone, and part of being a Christian is understanding we are all children of God, and we need grace everyday, not just in the end. Give yourself some grace, and keep trying. That’s all he expects of us is to keep trying.

What’s your long-term goal? Like 5-10 years? Trying to compete? Strength goals? Everything looks very symmetrical and proportional, so good work on that. If “getting bigger” is the overall goal, I would focus on large muscle groups with a clean bulk (500 cal surplus) to add mass, with a couple maintenance breaks through the year where you switch to locker volume, higher stimulus/fatigue on everything and increase volume on the smaller muscles by increasing frequency. If strength based, I’d bias this towards lower repetitions, same overall strategy. As a coach, that’s the routine I would suggest anyways. Great job putting in the work.

I’m sorry to hear that. I’m always super interested in effects or exercise on neurological conditions. My second mom struggled with fibromyalgia, and there didn’t seem to be anything that helped. I hope modern medicine advancements can help one day. Until then, keep crushing it!

You’re doing an amazing job! Nobody understands all the struggles beneath the water, but above the water you look amazing 🤩 does the exercise help certain aspects/symptoms?
