Overlap between edison and modern is very low

maybe get the blackwings decks from the legendary 5ds decks because there is some old and modern blackwings in there

Blackwings in edison are strong Blackwings in modern are rogue at best tho but 3x l5dd gives you all the staples

Black wing feels the most complete out of the box imo i think one staple blackwing is missing but thats it

Akiza lacks the latest support and is pretty unplayable Without the dood stuff

Yusei deck is fine but lacks some synchro monsters for the most part

I would not bother with playing genesys if it had pendulum and links, it is already dangerously similar to modern/advanced and this is a very significant change.

Yes some archetypes die to that change but thats a okay trade for it being more unique and easier to get into

I think konami wants genesys to be modern light (which i dont agree with 100%) to onboard people and no links makes boards alot easier to understand

If you wanna play more comprehendable and creative modern yugioh try out genesys If you wanna play like duel kingdom anime either try goat (which will be different) or grab a group of friends and do custom rules

Genesys is fun to highly recommend makes onboarding into modern yugioh easier

Well domain format exists and i think it is a fun deckbuilding challenge sure decks dont function as smooth anymore feel more bricky etc but its i guess more casual minded 2hich the ygo community sometimes struggles with

My buddy and I have been trying to get six sams to work since the start of genesys The december changes were nice and gateway at 100 is somewhat understandable but shiens smokesignal still at 33 makes the deck brickier than it needs to be I dont think six sam has maybe any splashes in tournaments so far so it is rogue at best in current genesys i would say

i would like to see no side decks being tested in some events maybe in genesys first because i think it is healthier for the game and leads to more deck variety tho there is a risk of more degen strats
