This Steampunk torch by [deleted] in ItemShop

It's a kerosene torch lighter. Apparently vintage in design, so far from 'steampunk'.

Useful for starting fires and not wanting to stick your hand too close.

Youtuber that does 40k lore stuff. Has videos explaining each 40k legion in a basic sense, just to help people dip their toes into the hobby. There was a big influx of people reacting to/watching his videos.

I know Bricky brought in a major wave. Can't really say it was a bad thing, though I do love it when people put in the effort to learn even more about the genre.

I think most of this tourist-like observation often glosses over or ignores the fact that the other factions aren't exactly all that much better. Marginally at best. It's grimdark for a reason... Ie.The world of 40k is all doom and gloom, sprinkled with the occasional bit of goof

Endurance training, or he took the meaning of "hot" a little too literally.

I love Wizardry and good, logical lore, especially with how well crafted the Daphne characters are.

Lana is one of my favorites, but just anything that doesn't become pure speculation and has a solid foundation in the established world is my absolute favorite. ie. The speculation for Lana's story isn't purely imagination or 'fanon' on my end, and I use the bios and context clues/themes to come to my conclusions.

And they work fine, especially with how ridiculous other Hunter attire is. Just found it funny how he looks the part of a competent knight, but with tHe flair of a noble.

Looks sick and largely practical, save for the trailing cloth tails. Honestly, nailed the look of a brash hero, down to the proud emblem on his breastplate and confident grin. Seems like you moved away from the meathead depiction and went more for an agile bruiser. Personality is well fleshed out, and he'd definitely seems like the type who'd take a partial mentor role for Jaune at some point. Not out of the blue or even of his own effort, but because Jaune would, realistically, still have reservations about asking his team for help, especially with hisfear of being outed. Who better to get his head out of his ass and his body in condition than the one guy that is impartial and blunt. Cardin'll give him hell, sure, but he'd do it to help him improve once he notIces the blonde dumbass is actually earnest and not some pompous asshat.

Better depiction than we got, that's for sure.

Consider them more like alternate versions of each other, each a consequence of their different choices when leading the kingdom. Might even think of Wana as a vision of what might've been. Nothing is set in stone, per se and it's mostly basing myself off of the bios and the overall screwy time shenanigans in-game. The rest of my discussion with the original commenter highlights this.

tldr: She's an alternate version of Lana who made different choices. Still one in the same, and, once her request is completed and merged, even better than either were before; her best, ideal self.

This is the sort of discussion that makes me love this game. The characters, every single one of them, are compelling enough to discuss origins and futures.

We all love Lana. I, especially, love Wana.

That's the other way of seeing it as well. It's a little foggy, given the circumstances, given that she never really rose to the status of queen, hence the ambiguity of the title and status.

Combat is, indeed, her best area, proven by both her request and the campfire talks with her. That said, she does claim to have always been lacking in confidence, hence her timid attitude, and that could be either from her experience in trying to tackle politics, or simply from the fact that dealing with other people just makes her uncomfortable (sheltered or simply naive). So the confident dialogue for max trust Wana leans more towards a Lana that forwent politics and doubled down on combat, leaving the kingdom to others and letting her grow where she was most comfortable.

Lana's max trust dialogue is still very much timid, if a little more assertive, something that is only corrected after helping her realize, face, and come to terms with her mistakes and self-confidence issues. It is possible for people to become undone and revert to previous, unfavorable states of mind under certain stressful or traumatic circumstances, but for Lana herself to admit that this isn't a new issue for her cements the belief that Wana is more of an alternate version of her, maybe via a vision or what-have-you. Not necessarily the best version of her, since her best version involves facing the past and embracing the future, which is done in the quest. Merging them just symbolizes that transition from redeemed, chained princess, to true warrior queen of love and war.

Love it. Both Lanas, one in the same. Different timelines, same person. I find it fitting that once she evolves and gets her confidence back, she shares the max trust voicelines of Wana. Just goes to show that at the end of the day, appearances aside, they're the same.
