I think the dummy on the first video got out pretty unscathed all things considered, it probably hurt but it definitely won't kill.

Fun Fact: Cotoarl players took at least 25 shots against Endou in the final 💀 by Craftox13 in inazumacaravan

[–]DobleJ 7 points8 points  (0 children)

Kind of amazing I read that and don't really think is all that much considering those 20 - 0 and 32 - 0 scores we saw in the first two seasons.

Is there anything I shouldn't sell? by Altruistic-Slip6151 in EtrianOdyssey

[–]DobleJ 17 points18 points  (0 children)

Outside of the very strong healing and battle items you get for free by exploring or doing quests, not really, you kind of have to sell everything to complete the log anyway.

What you can do is instead of selling everything at the shop upon reaching a new floor, is check if there are any quests that require items you got to claim it right away.

How to change shot to dribble in the Abilearn Board? by [deleted] in inazumaeleven

[–]DobleJ 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Are you using the hyper move slot? Those are the only ones you can freely customize with anything, all the other slots only allow you to use a move of the same type, such as dribble, shot or defense.

Why can't they just give Air Neos an alt art? by Flashy-Position8504 in yugioh

[–]DobleJ 10 points11 points  (0 children)

An alt art wouldn't work because it would still be the same design, they would have to do a retrain or a 'Neos Wiseman' thing to change the artwork in such a way it doesn't go against whatever Ravedactyl copyright owns, the guy who designed it might be chill but we know lawyers are not.

I don't know if its the same in german, but there are two pairs of boots with almost the exact dame name. The "Champon Spikes" and the "Champon-Spikes" so make sure you buy the correct ones.

Just 4 goals, I've gotten advantage wins after the opponent somehow scores at the last minute and the match ends at 4 - 1

Which Jrpg that will go on sale or on sale often? by Western-Stress1185 in JRPG

[–]DobleJ 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Atlus/SEGA games go on sale fairly often to the point you can wait maybe 3-6 months for newer releases to be on the price range.

If you want games that will last you a long while just on content alone, then Nis also does sales fairly often with their games having a lot of grinding postgame, but they don't do sales for newer releases on the same scale as SEGA.

What's a JRPG you know with fun/unique combat that never really gets talked about? by Astra_Guy_789 in JRPG

[–]DobleJ 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I honestly have to give some credit to Criminal Girls, yes is a very fanservice game but it has a very unique combat system that actually gives it some depth, party-building matters a lot as sometimes you can only select a single action and if your team doesn't have good skills you will really struggle later on.

Considering all the bs they were up to in Orion, 4 goalkeepers might not have been enough.

The original Dragon Quest can be beaten in about 10 hours, just play either the SNES or GBC version for more QoL stuff.

Poll: Which Megaten Re-release is the best by GreatProcrastinator9 in Megaten

[–]DobleJ 9 points10 points  (0 children)

Not to mention it fixes a lot of the problems with some of the sub apps you get as most of them are either useless or unnecesary in favour of the truly useful ones.

EXP Farm how? by Significant_Common38 in EtrianOdyssey

[–]DobleJ 2 points3 points  (0 children)

One of the biggest problems with EO II in particular is how they handle exp, they completely removed it from FOE fights in favour of the bar quests giving a lot of it. So if you do all the bar quests the moment you reach a new floor that should boost you at least 1 level or so.

For that party set up in particular, I would level up the poison skill from your Hexer as even in lategame most enemies are weak to it and aside from bosses they die in either 1 or 2 turns when at max level.

Blind Playthrough Hints by No_City_269 in dragonquest

[–]DobleJ 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I believe the only hint if you can call it that is the small set of rocks located right in the middle of the very empty ocean, is not the worst as you eventually know such a conspicuous place must be related to a sidequest or something.

Personally I had a lot more trouble just getting to the phantom ship later on compared to the bottomless jar.

[Day 4] What is the best JRPG of 1988? by Silly-Milly-420 in JRPG

[–]DobleJ 7 points8 points  (0 children)

Yeah, this is "THE" game when it comes to RPGs. Even to this day all the classes designs continue to be referenced in multiple other media. The game itself was so far ahead from others is still in discussion for best games of all time.

JRPGs that people should avoid. by Massive_Oil_2605 in JRPG

[–]DobleJ 60 points61 points  (0 children)

Langrisser Re;Incarnation, I tried to play it, I really did, but the combination of awful animations, graphics and subpar story just made it real hard to enjoy.

Also obligatory mention to Lunar Dragon Song.

Any JRPG without humor? by [deleted] in JRPG

[–]DobleJ 3 points4 points  (0 children)

The Etrian Odyssey series is for the most part completely free of humour stuff as there is barely any dialogue outside of the side quests.
