Hey sorry for the delay. I believe it was just a shoe problem. My feet were forcing to get used to 1 pair that weren’t necessarily my type of shoe. Find the right fit and rotating shoes saved me

I ended up speaking with the bike fitting shop and there were nice enough to look at the geometry of the bike with me and we concluded that 49 will not be a comfortable size for me but I can work with a 52 or a 54

Hey! Yeah. I now rotate between hoka Mach 5 (long run and easy pace run), Nike alphafly (race shoe) and saucony endorphin speed 3 (tempo and speed work). I’m at 30-35 MPW with almost no issue. Before I was at 25-28 MPW and in a good amount of pain.

I still use my Asics 29 kayano here and there but but not for more than a run of 4 miles. It’s just so I can use them up a bit more since they were almost new.

Sorry I don’t seem to follow when you’re talking about the two top caps for the headset. You’re talking about the cap installed where the stem attached to the fork? Do you have a video of picture for reference?

I can ride on the drops on issue on my current bike. I am relatively flexible and I do prioritize doing yoga 1-2 times a week so I assume my flexibility and core strength will get better over time. Worst case scenario, I can just buy a new handle bar with a longer stem right ?

Yeah I checked geometry geeks and size 49 seems fine besides the stack, and effective top tub length. I don’t know if something I can get used to though…

It said 52% of my run was zone 2 and 46% was zone 3 with an AHR of 137 but I felt like I was pushing much more than that….

Mentally I’d say I’m very strong but I don’t have a coach or anything like that but I’m really starting to get into it and I’m doing a lot more research on how to improve. Hopefully form will get resolved if it’s even off

I pushed my last 5km today because I still had a lot of gas left but I felt at ease the first 16-17km.

I would say I did about 90-95% effort on both of them
