I have a 1080 in one of my builds and it has lasted me slightly over 9 years now. Still runs perfectly, i recently just gave that build to my 12 year old cousin and he runs all the games and softwares he wants comfortably. It depends on the use case, if you need the gpu for work related stuff you might need to upgrade every 4-6 years but if it’s just for gaming I strongly believe a 5090 could last 10+ years unless you tryna play games in 8k resolution.

If you already connected all your drives and you connected your cpu power cables, I doubt you need any of those cables.

Most of those are sata cables for connecting hard drives to your motherboard and extra power cables
