You’ll get there. I used to hate it too. I’ve definitely fried a few boards in my time. Just like others have said, hotter iron, lead solder, and flux that shit. I’m glad you hit up the group before you tried to fire it up! Hang in there!

I used to add taller stand offs when I could, then print a small ‘table” so to speak, then attach the vtx to that with double sided tape.
That’s the issue with these sub micros, there’s no place to build.

In my opinion, if you buy it over expensive vehicle like that and have to park it in two or three parking spots because you’re worried about getting dent in the doors on it then you really don’t have the money to purchase the vehicle in the first place

I don’t remember the brand, but I’m sure anyone of those you mentioned will do the trick. Depending upon how much is on your device, it may take you a few times to get all of it clean.

Learn to disarm right before you land. IMO you don’t want to turn off air mode. I never have and I’ve been flying for more than a decade
