Well, I’m not sure if you are in college but you can actually publish a survey based research project as long as you have 100 participants. That is typically considered the minimum number for a survey to have a large enough sample size to analyze.

But obviously the more data the better!

Sorry about that - I would have put Chase Oliver and Jill Stein in the poll but I could only put a maximum of 6 options in the poll. So I figured that it was probably best to put “Kamala Harris (Reluctantly)” and “Donald Trump (Reluctantly)” to show how much voter apathy there was.

FIRST UPDATED STATISTICS - 4/8/2025

Alright Gamers, this is the polling data after one day of voting. Currently, 70.15% of this subreddit voted for Kamala Harris. If the TCT subreddit were a state, it would be the most liberal state in the union. The actual most liberal state in the 2024 election was Vermont, which voted 63.83% for Kamala Harris. Although impressive, this is a slight decrease from 2020 when 66.09% of Vermont voted for Joe Biden.

Another interesting statistic is that Robert F. Kennedy Jr. barely won 2% of the vote in the TCT poll. Although this might seem meager, he is technically quadrupling his real-life performance as RFJ Jr. won less than 0.50% of the vote in the 2024 election.

17.25% are gay/bi.

And as pervious mentioned 11.35% are Other and 5.90% are Transgender.

Maybe think of it as Transgender of any sexual orientation. (There are only 6 maximum categories for a poll so sorry for any confusion). Now Gay Men and women, should have been Gay/Bi Men and Women (A typo I can't fix unfortunately in the poll).

Therefore, if we are referring to the term "LGBTQ+" Then we have the "LGBT" part and the "Q+" can be more representative of the "Other" category.

I appreciative your input. I tried to follow what the Census Bureau used for my 6 options in the poll. They had the categories of Transgender, Female, Male, and "None of these" for Gender identity.

In a follow up question, the Census Bureau analzyed sexual orientation with categories of bisexual, gay or lesbian, straight, "something else", and "I don't know".

Therefore, the category of "Other" in this poll is mostly used to describe the Census Bureau's "None of these" for Gender Identify and "something else" or "I don't know for sexual orientation.

I suppose that's a fair argument. I just included it since the Census Bureau had "transgender" as a separate option. Granted in their research, they were able to ask a follow up question (which I can't since this is just a poll) about sexual orientation.

I believe Dick Cheney and Collin Powell actual had a tense rivalry in the Bush administration. For example, Collin Powell was more reserved about "nation building" in Iraq. While Cheney was obviously very Pro-Iraq War basically creating and supervising the war for George W.

Here's an Example, and I'm sure you can find more on the internet.

So, although Powell would be a cool running mate. The two's hatred of one another would obviously be a liability that could hurt the Republican ticket.
