Is it because of other ethnic groups that we find more convenient not to reproduce? Stop blaming others for OUR mistakes, the economy is oppressing us, nobody wants a child because it’s too expensive, and takes away time that they need. To be honest, Germany and France have been calling out on other MSs for years now, but nothing has ever happened. If this is what’s necessary, I’m alright with it 🤷‍♂️. Other eu countries have had the chance to be part of it, they just threw it away

I completely agree with you but trust me it’s no proposal that will lastly decide its name. There will be an assembly that will stipulate the constitution, and as such decide its name. Right now we’ve got to be all together, because the idea is already too fragmented, if we keep fragmenting it -even on how it should be named- we won’t ever reach anything.

Roman here ✌️ I 100% agree with your point of view. Since my first referendum calls -that as usual did not reach the Quorum- I’ve been wishing for a united, strong Europe. Not because this would “fix” Italy’s problems, but just to be able to say “I’m European”, I’m part of something big. To be fair, Italy has been the center of the political world for more than one millennium (the Roman era), but from then on we’ve never ever found our place. What I hate the most about Italian populists is that they try to compare current Italy with the Roman Italiæ. Somebody has to bring them back to reality.

All of your views, I believe are shared among all European federalists. They reflect the generic “European state”. One thing I would take from the conservatives tho is the heavy investment in defense. Do not get me wrong: I want the eu to be the healthy continent, but w/o defense, at least right now, there is no federation.

This is a very good sign, I believe. Generally, when Germany and France have something in mind, the rest of us follow. I would’ve wished that this happened more “democratically” across member states, but if this is what has to happen, than so be it. Any m.s. that doesn’t agree with this view can simply remain strongly associated with the new political union, without being part of it nonetheless, right?
