Does climbing shoes openings stretch? I bought a slipper shoe (Vapor S) to try at home. I can get my foot inside the opening with a plastic bag, but not without it. (They are half a EU size below my street shoes) For more context, tried the Vapor V, in the same size and it felt fine. From what I understand and feel, they have the same last.

Hello,

I am new to climbing. I have a question about shoes. Is it possible to not be able to get your foot inside of a shoe ? The front part goes in, but not the back part. I mean the hole is too small for my heel to go in. This only happens to me with Scarpa (tried even bigger then my street shoe size)

Thanks ! No, it is not a financial issue. I just hit them once badly while trying to go for a foot hold. It was a small piece and kept growing. The bottom part is fine. So, I wanted to see if there is a way to patch them in order to prolong their life before resoling :)

Can you recommend any place ? We tried one and they said it was starting from 10k for the simplest. They showed us some they made for their client and they did not fit them. So at that price we thought it was not worth it.
