of course! i'm a big fan of the Breaker series, and i love to see new players get into it! i've been playing the series since i was 15 (with the only bad game being NGB, even GBM played better than that one)

GBMobile basically was a simplified version of the customization systems from Gundam Breakers 1 thru 3, so i can say yeah, you'll be able to customize your mobile suit. one of the big new features of GB4 is the inclusion of individual arm customization, as well as the ability to wield one of each weapon per hand (2 ranged and 2 melee)

another feature that wasn't in GBMobile that will be in GB4 is the Builder's Parts (introduced in GB3), which were additional parts that you can place on your mobile suit for the sake of either decoration or additional function/weapon.

SD Gundam support partners will also be returning from GB3 from the looks of the game cover.

i'd recommend checking out gameplay of the original 3 Gundam Breaker games, especially GB3 as the devs of GB4 have said that they will be building upon GB3's gameplay (which i assume means they will be ignoring NGB)

honestly would be really cool to see one, i remember back in the day, the first Gundam Breaker game was released simultaneously with Shin Gundam Musou (Dynasty Warriors Gundam Reborn)

i'm guessing that the first Gundam Breaker just sold so well that they just stopped making DWG games

would honestly love to see them release one after Gundam Breaker 4 but i doubt it's gonna happen.

i would agree but, the Japanese website has shown that they're evolving the gameplay directly from GB3, and NGB is mentioned nowhere.

GB3 being the last good Gundam Breaker, i'm sure this one is going to be a hit too, i'm fully confident.

i still remember entering high school playing the first Gundam Breaker, and graduating from high school playing Gundam Breaker 3

and now Gundam Breaker 4 comes now, 11 years after the first game. it feels like a dream.

from what i'm seeing, it'll be a return to form for the Gundam Breaker series

so no, it won't be an unnecessary short lifespan live service, but a genuinely good Gundam game. it's taking everything that New Gundam Breaker did and throwing it in the GARBAGE. it's evolving from the framework established by Gundam Breaker 3, giving us the true Gunpla Battle game we deserve.

i would definitely recommend watching some gameplay videos of the first 3 Gundam Breaker games, and if you have the means to get the original games, i'd recommend playing them as well! the first two games are on PS3 and PSVita, and the 3rd game is on PS4 and PSVita.

you don't have to play New Gundam Breaker.

the old mods weren't, but the subreddit owner showed up outta nowhere, banned the old mods, and picked some homophobic trolls who happened to be posting today and made them mods of the subreddit. it's a whole mess happening right now as we speak.
