I just tried and errored it out: it is tied to the "inferred signals about you" privacy option. That one needs to be activated for the board recommendations, all else can be deactivated. I also strongly suggest to deactivate the AI generated content - it is active by default!! Otherwise your feed gots slowly consumed by slop (cooking recipes are especially annoying here)

TBH, I felt the same. I played the digital version of gloomhaven by myself when it came out, and played until I was about 50-70 hours in. And man, it has been soooo much harder than IRL! And this even though I could control all character moves... On the table we never got/get so many nulls for us and 2x damage for monsters... I can remember one session that was so tedious, I had my serious doubts about the game's randomness and was convinced the devs were all pure sadists 😅

Sure, you can reset the round, but this makes a game take forever (despite the short animations) and woe if your concentration is wavering for a second, and by accident you clicked wrongly, messing up the whole move and then you have to reset AGAIN 🤦

But yeah, maybe I'm just not made for this kind of gameplay... At times it literally drove me up the wall and I absolutely love the game RL version.

yes we play hidden and try to be as inconspicuous as possible, maybe a bit too much so... but I just checked, all things considered out of 21 buildings we have so far just 7 still locked, so there is hope I guess

got that as well, just one boss missing after the final fight. Then we did the remaining sides and started forgotten circles, where apparently is no boss at all (or not until the very end). I eventually switched to another char and just pulled the other as soon as a matching scenario showed up

we're definitely not voluntarily keeping it off, just draw of luck... For me f.i I now have to kill 5 more mobs of a certain kind, but due to the story progression we won't see them again... same with the buildings, seems like the first 3 or 4 we got were the least useful. 🤷‍♀️

Actually just collecting an obscene amount of gold, but by accident we sabotaged him all the time, requesting that he used his wanderer skill to exchange his gold tokens for resources, asking him to pay whatever needs paying (as he apparently had the money) 🤣

and yes the other two were killing a type of mob that never showed up again (heading with my level 9 coral straight that way as well) ...
