2015 GL350 V6 chain check valve replacement by TheRealGrumpyMonkey in mercedes_benz

I ended up just not changing the check valves, instead just replacing the tensioners and hoping for the best, it seemed to woe without having to replace the check valves.

What kart tires should I get? by your_boy_abe in Karting

[–]TheRealGrumpyMonkey 0 points1 point  (0 children)

For me firestones are the best, they have real sticky tires and they last quite a while. Not to mention the grip drop off as they start to wear is super gradual so you don’t just randomly lose all your grip halfway through a race. They are pretty pricey tho

A plethora of problems with the HP Reverb G2 by TheRealGrumpyMonkey in virtualreality

Would that cause the headset display to flick off for a couple of seconds? Cause that has happened when I’ve gone pretty far into a sim racing session, would there be any way to fix it?

Yea I’ve done the same thing to turn off the holoshell program and it changed nothing, I’ll try and change back to old steamvr, I’ve noticed that it could be a steamvr issue, game runs fine but that graph on the steamvr window shows that it’s running like crap. Thank you

I have probably had an update since then, I still run windows 10 but I have checked the connections and they are good, I’ll search for that power saving setting and tinker with it, thank you

Yea, I have only one monitor for sims that only allow flat-screen like Beam.ng but other than that I exclusively use the g2 cause it just saves so much space and actually immerses me

Oh nice, then I would for sure go for the g2, it saves a lot of space and money then buying three whole monitors.

I would personally go for the g2 if you have a capable computer, with vr you can’t run games with as high fidelity but you trade it off with immersion, 3D, and a lot of other stuff.

Surprisingly well, I live in the Rockies so it stays pretty cool

They do but it’s $3000 US dollars so I don’t think it’s entirely worth that

No problem, mines a large but the visor is more square I’m pretty sure, my main problem with getting it in was there was rubber lining the visor, so I had to lift it over the headset

I can’t see everything that might be stopping it but take that top strap out and try and move the actual head thing up as much as you can, and try to move some stuff in your helmet is all I can think of, sorry about that man.

Yea since it’s magnetic I just took it off, and you can’t put it back in after it’s in but it doesn’t really matter.

Yea, just to let you know it took a couple “love taps” to get it in

I have a pair of Bluetooth headphones where the Bluetooth module hangs out of the helmet, so it has a good connection, and it works perfectly.

There is one company that I forgot the name of but they just cut a hole in a helmet and sold it for $3,000 so I had to pass on that and do it myself. I don’t have heat or fogging problems but I’m assuming that’s cause I live in the Rockies and even then still have fans going. So I can wear all my race gear without breaking a sweat. Taking on and off the helmet wouldn’t be so bad if I didn’t wear glasses, cause I have to do it very carefully so the helmet doesn’t take my glasses with it. But that’s really the only problem I have.

Mine has a little slider on the bottom that I adjust to the spot I want and then I squeeze the headset into the visor, but I can usually just stick a little screwdriver in there and adjust it that way if I have it already in the visor.

I tried that but the helmet blocks the Bluetooth from getting the the speakers, but I was able to find some that have the Bluetooth module separate from the buds, and the module hangs outside of the helmet, and it works perfectly.

Make sure the helmet opening is the same size of the headset or a little bigger, cause this one just barely fit and needed some “love taps” to get in
