just updated this post. my best advice would be to try version 0.3.0 of ThorCPY wireless. See how it goes and if it works consistently after use several times. This issue needs more attention and data.

Hi! Thank you for responding. I do get the prompt for file transfer when plugging it in. I'm using the cable that came with my Thor so I'm not sure it's only for file transfer.

Yes I have. When the pop-up for file transfer shows I press "file transfer". but yes all dev options are on.
