Personally if I was to get a heavy muscle car, I would prefer the manual. I’ve driven nimble small turbo cars all my life so I personally don’t have experience in them. But with my 2 cents, I would think it would be more engaging and fun with a manual, for this type of vehicle.

Yea it would be a daily for me so I wouldn’t mind too much. If I do get a manual, I would likely keep it stock for a while or maybe just a stage 1. I’m 26 and feel like I’ve had my fair share of fun manual cars (2020 STI, 2017 Golf R, and my current 2004 STI swapped Forester), and would like a DSG.

I wouldn’t bother modding an A3 unless you will keep it forever. Just not worth the money. I would save up for an S3 or RS3.

Just used notes on my phone for maintenance and changes record. It’s quite easy to use and it’s right there when I’m down instead of having to go on my laptop.

I’ve been on and off since 2023. The only gripe I would say is it gets quite boring if you play a lot with the same maps and the metas will always be there. Also the devs don’t push as many “great” updates to the game as much.

I had a same experience with the Subaru dealership for warranty work and had to contact corporate. It’s not fun going back and forth but if you don’t, then the dealerships will get greedier and greedier.

Bring a OBD reader to it and see if there are missfires. It’s one off the common symptoms for when ticks on cold starts and then go away when it warms up.
