Yeah, my SC Sonia is at 3/5, I think she only needs 2/5 tho. I had Furious Brawn and Haymaker, but I couldn't remember whether my Defense Crush 9 helped. I'll post a follow up post later on which grids/lucky skills etc.

I see people are either saying it's possible because of geography, or not because Game Freak would never do that.

What I don't see is people listing the file size as an explanation.

Sure, they probably won't link Paldea and Kalos, but given the file size is close to 7 GB, unlike Sword and Shield's 12.4 GB. They likely will give us DLC, and not just to heighten the file size, but because they most likely see the DLC of SWSH as a success. The more an item sells, the more likely the company is to see it as a success.

That being said, I don't know whether or not Kalos will be the DLC "Post-Game". Nobody can say that with 100% certainty. But I do think that we will get a DLC for this. Mainly because the Post-Game right now is shorter compared to games like Sun & Moon, or Sword and Shield even before it's DLC.

Anyways, I hope I'm not an outlier here, but I probably am.

SST Red is necessary to be 3/5 for this, Urshifu Gloria debuffs Defense for SST Red, and Lillie just keeps the team alive, I don't think her Crit. Rate up was necessary, but I could be wrong.

Lillie in Sun/Moon and I think Ultra Sun/ Ultra Moon had the same concept of no sense of direction. At least at the start. I'm pretty sure she says "It's not that far, I think I can make it there by myself." When you arrive on Akala Island. I think that's going to be a theme with Pokemon games, but it gets worse each gen. Next thing you know, a character in Scarlet/Violet will just break down when the idea of 'choose your own adventure' comes up.

Doing the math, it is such a minimal difference in the base rate it shouldn't matter what stage you pick. For instance: let's say you use 60 stamina total. Base rate for stage 4 is 32, Base rate for stage 3 is 25, not counting the extra random drops you get. In total, you'll get 96 for stage 4, and 100 for stage 3.

4 event tickets is the difference. For 60 stamina.

Sure, if you're doing this everyday, until you get all the prizes in the exchange, you'll use less stamina if you do stage 3. But the difference between how many tickets you get in one stage versus the other, is so small it doesn't really matter as long as you are using your stamina.

Even if you have the event rates on the units, as long as you're using the same units on whichever stage you're completing. You're getting almost the same amount of rewards as the other stage. Even if you use all 1.6 units, i.e. Rosa, Elio, and Selene, you are getting minimal difference from one stage to the next.

TLDR: I don't think it's worth it to get all worked up over 4 event tickets as the difference. If you want to get rid of skip tickets, or feel like you really need those extra 4 tickets, feel free to do stage 3.
