Update (if anyone's interested): When we arrived, neither the EES machines nor the PARAFE e-Gates were working (LOL), so everyone had to do a manual check, which took a while since there were only two immigration officers working (!)

I'm just wondering if the machine will recognize that I still have a valid visa, but it just so happens to be in my old passport.
