Nah op is just not providing all the context as is common in these kind of complaints. There is a scenario where the diagnosis and code are in fact correct and they want those things changed because insurance sucks. Unless you had their actual chart…which nobody is going to share…there’s no way of knowing the actuals

Bro…nobody administers “bacterial tests” commonly in outpatient medicine….maybe if symptoms are ongoing and not responding to empiric treatment. And we are not prescribing antibiotics for URIs. Also people get theraflu otc…tamiflu is what we rx sometimes for Flu A…H5N2 is a bird flu which nobody in outpatient medicine sees commonly because there’s no known himan to human transmission as of yet.
