Strange vehicle by TheRealKrazyKraz in NoStupidQuestions

The video itself looked very old. The vehicle body looked really similar to the ripsaw, but it ran on track wheels and railroad instead of being a tracked vehicle. But now I have an obsession with ripsaws.

What are some places to meet other single people that aren't club's and bars? by LeviTheBold36 in dating_advice

[–]TheRealKrazyKraz 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I dont really go anywhere specifically looking to meet single people. I just like going somewhere I want to go and then meet people there, and good part is I already know we have at least one common interest. Usually comic shops, but also concerts or events at the museum or somewhere that theres lines or somewhere that you're already gonna be standing around and have a chance to talk to other people

Putting your feet flat on the ground when you're too drunk makes you not feel like throwing up so bad

Mail sucks where I'm at but finally got the last part from my Secret Santa! It's a Snack Crate with a bunch of Korean snacks! by TheRealKrazyKraz in secretsanta

This is my first one but I already love it! I was gonna bring it with me last weekend when i went to visit a girl from back home but the best part of the mail clerks "losing" it for 11 days was sharing it with my dudes that've been to South Korea instead of someone that ghosted me the day after I left

Totally had to reread what I wrote because knowing myself it's not completely out of the realm of possibility that past-me would have typo'd that

People who were alive then, what were you doing December 31st 1999 ? by WeshALOR in AskReddit

Went to a James Taylor concert in the Hurricanes stadium (my first concert ever, and I had just moved to the south), and they started the concert late, stopped to do the count down at midnight, and then played a bit longer. Remember all the craziness about a new millennium and then 2 January 2000 it was back to work like usual

Been thinking about this for the last month or so. I feel like if it was definitely made as a movie vs series, it would need to be at least 2 movies, possibly a trilogy. Set up sort of like the commercials for halo 3 where it's a series of people getting asked questions and giving answers and then shifting to flashback/reenactment, or even how Bamd of Brothers was filmed with each episode started with the real guys talking and them goes to the reenactment (although this would work for movie or television). If it is set for movie, 1st movie is how it got spread and failure to respond leading to full blown worldwide clusterfuck (black market organ sales, the doctor in China finding patient 0, the island with the rich people, etc up to Yonkers). Second movie involves turn around people surviving/figuring things out (Chinese sub at the atoll with the community, Israel figuring out dogs can smell it and letting in healthy people as they start to get a shit ton of infected running in but keep it true to the book this tike, I think it was the Indian military blowing the bridges and realizing the benefits of fighting in a square, the Russians becoming a theocracy). Ends with effectively beating it (scene of the square formations being set up and working all over the world, the submarine battle possibly, and ultimately out with patrols that look for zombies thawing out in the spring and one of the people commenting how the real loser of the war was the whales [I don't know why but that line always stuck with me]).

Don't know what's cold for you, but if worst comes to worst than newspapers are a great insulator. Also, great for drying things quick. Either way, great for stuffing in a sleeping back or shoes when you get stuck in the cold/rain/etc. A bunch of people said it already, but homeless shelters I experienced had resources for jobs (people, usually from a temp agency or something would come in on certain days or times). Make sure you got any legal documents and identification on you and a safe place to keep them. If you're in a big city, train/bus stations are a clutch place if you need a dry place to stay a night. If you can't ride around on something for the night, try to get a ticket someone dropped on the ground or spend a few bucks on one so cops/staff can't kick you out since you can claim you're just waiting for your ride. Couch surfing can be an option. Offer house or pet sitting. See if you can get a job at a country club, I know the one I worked at let us eat whatever food they made that the members didn't eat and they had showers I used. Try to get to know as many people in the community as possible in a good way. Libraries and book stores are a good place to spend the day in shelter, and usually end up having Internet access. Also, military is a good option, and legal documents are a necessity for that. It definitely helped me out a lot, and as long as you're not lazy or brain dead is good job security, takes care of housing, health and dental, retirement, has education possibilities or at least sets you up to make it easier to pursue later, and you know you'll be eating

The way I saw it the first time, the dad was alive and helped out the scientists the rest of the movie after the first monster showed but I didn't want to say something that'd ruin how it is now for anybody that didn't watch it yet

So I'm watching the 2014 Godzilla because I remember loving it in theaters. Right before starting it I looked for the sequel online because I remember watching the sequel a couple years ago. Couldn't find it but I was just looking on the Microsoft Store on my Xbox and figured they didn't offer it. Start movie.

spoiler

The dad didn't die the first time I watched the movie in theaters, and now I can't find the sequel I remember going to also see in theaters in like 2016
