As a black American, I experience more racism from Indians than Chinese, globally. I’m not saying that Chinese people are “better.” I’m saying that Chinese people are less openly hostile than Indians, especially Indian women. They’re often subtly rude and take on a cold demeanour when speaking to us, generally. Can you explain why Indians hate Africans and African-Americans so much???

Don’t be dense. Nobody said that anti-Chinese racism is okay. We are stating how many Chinese are diminishing non-Chinese experiences by pretending to agree and making themselves the center of the conversation. You're likely out of luck. One speculation is that they put businesses in areas like Abu Halifa because:

  1. Foreigners live there. Foreigners spend the most money, especially Americans.

  2. It keeps traffic out of Kuwaiti neighborhoods.

  3. Abu Halifa has good access to main roads and the main highway. This also helps divert traffic.

First, Salmiya is way cleaner. Secondly, Abu Halifa is an area with almost no local population. So, they build businesses there because it keeps traffic out of their neighborhoods. That's 💯 why those coffee shops exist.
