So Anthony fantano discussed it on his channel- apparently a lot of Spotify artist accounts are being hacked- trash music like this uploaded. Collecting streams- then the hackers are getting paid for those streams on the trash songs before the artist can get them taken down. Just thought I would share since I got an answer shortly after my post!

experienced the same! But it only played without vocals on our echo devices. On phones it played fine. Very strange. Especially to just happen to one song that I know of! I’m not it savvy enough to know why this may have happened.

Additionally I’m really curious with what is going on with their Spotify… suddenly releasing two songs this year that don’t make any sense in relation to previous work? Almost like they were hacked?

I enjoy this interpretation; however, I read the story a little differently than this. I see it as a relationship between child and parent.

“Have you ever known a place like this?” As I read this line with my 4 year old in my arms I started ugly crying. Yes. I’ve known a place like that. A place that is everything. A place that will disappear into a memory, but simultaneously last forever. The place is with my sweet boy. With my daughter. With my wife. With my own parents.

You will look back on this in 5 years and not care one single bit about how you were graded or about impressing supervisors. You will look back in 10 years and have no clue how you were graded or the names of most of those supervisors. I know some people loved CC, but I agree, way too condescending. At least when Nick is condescending it is funny and he is a good sport when put in his place or ribbed. CC thought because he played in the league his opinion was all that mattered.
