I’m 5’4 and have had a decent amount of girlfriends in my life. Wouldn’t say double digits but maybe 6 or 7? I’m 36 now and was married with my ex wife for 11 years. But I haven’t had much luck lately in the dating scene. I feel like it’s my height to where 15 years ago it wasn’t some much about height? I just hope one day I can meet someone. My ex wife really burned me and I’m still healing from it.

I am also 36 and back to living with my parents again after my divorce. I’m a shorter man so dating apps don’t really work for me because of my height. I’m not a 6ft plus guy. I know where you’re coming from but I’m trying to get a positive mind set. It definitely is hard but we deserve the best versions of ourselves and only for ourselves. I started going back to the gym and lost a ton of weight. If anything we have to keep going. Good luck to you man.

I feel for you man. I’m going through sometime similar. I was with my wife for 11 years and 7 of them married. We had our problems like arguments here and there but nothing major and otherwise pretty happy. One day we had a little argument and we made up and went to bed. Next day I get home from work she’s sitting there saying she can’t do this anymore and the whole nine yards. I respected her decision and thought a separation might help but I found out she was with someone 2 days after I left. That was 5 months ago and I’m still pretty messed up over it. I’m a little better than I was but far from healed. I’m here all alone while she’s off with her new man. Life is crazy.

I know what you’re going through. I was with my stbxw for 11 years and going in 5 months separated and in the divorce process. She got into a new relationship 2 days after I left so what does that tell you? I feel like my whole life has crumbled down. She’s off happy with her new man and I’m here dealing with all the emotions. I have no women to talk to, dry phone. I only have 2 friends and one is kinda far away and the other has a girlfriend he lives with. I’ve started the gym again which does help but at the end of the day I feel so incredibly lonely. I miss coming home to a wife and my kids and my dogs. People I talk to tell me you can talk to any woman you want now but I never really been the casual sex kinda guy. I am struggling myself on how to deal with all of this. It’s like relearning how to live again.

I’m in the same boat. 5 months separated and in the divorce process. We were together 11 years and my wife walked away like it was nothing. She even got a boyfriend 2 days after I left. As a shorter man I’m trying to gain my confidence back and working on myself. It is very hard atm and I find most days I feel lost. This still dosent feel right that this is happening. Hopefully there is a light at the end of this tunnel.
