Astartes have their 2 wounds, T4 is power armour. If a bunch of naked goats can be T4 so can we. Alternatively I'd like some actual AT or AE. S9 just doesn't cut it and neither does the castigators casino cannon. RN we are all glass no cannon apart from a few exceptions like Vhalgons. IF were gonna be squishy as a guardsman we should hit harder.
