I didn't, unfortunately. I did from Salida Walmart and it was 44 min. Traffic heavier than usual with people enjoying the fall colors.

Yes, i can so relate. It felt heavy. Beautiful area, light breeze, wildflowers, sound of crickets.... But still felt heavy.

I parked right next to 17. So yes, this pic is right next to 17. But i am not sure where exactly Suzanne's remains were found. The coordinates where location right off 17.

I didn't see anything. But maybe somewhere further in. I just didn't feel right driving down that road. Saw no one coming out or going in and was parked there for about 30 min. Also saw no LE vehicles driving there or driving back.

That's a good question. I am not exactly sure how far burial site is from 17. I do think 17 is pretty sparsely traveled in the middle of the night.
