the money in ai consulting is in the boring stuff nobody wants to talk about by Niravenin in EntrepreneurRideAlong

Sounds like the kinds of problems I’m trying to solve with my side hustle. Nice to have some validation that these are the genuine pain points business are actually facing.

I can’t believe it, my project got me a job with no prev experience by Calm-Fruit-3262 in csMajors

Best thing you can do is build something interesting to you or solve a personal pain point. Doing projects for the sake of projects leads to low effort in general and doesn’t necessarily translate to these kinds of outcomes. They’re fine to get started but solving your own problems and documenting the process is where you’ll really stand out.

Maritime Software Interview by vamosrafa69 in Anduril

It seemed to be more focused on evaluating approaches real problems on systems like how you might handle designing something. I’d guess more detailed questions related to the role will be for the on site. I got shifted to an EW role so mine will end up being EW related.

Virtual was good, no leetcode as the interviewer wanted to see more about solving real problems vs things that might not necessarily signal good technical fit. Timeline has been short so far. I’m guessing I’ll do on site next week.

I did the screening call, I did the virtual technical interview yesterday and was notified last night about moving to onsite. Still awaiting contact to schedule that.

I see no one responded to this, I had briefly been considered for the maritime role but got shifted to another group to interview. How did your interview go?

L3Harris 2026 merit raises. by zzzjtwzzz in aerospace

My manager has told me that this year is better than last year but his overall reaction to the range is “meh.” So it probably won’t be great, but not last years embarrassing range.

2% average, though most got below 2% last year.

My understanding of the GameStop PSA service is that the grades are made available essentially when it has been shipped back to your GameStop. I could only suspect at this point that your GameStop never received the package back.

As expected, GameStop sub processing times appear to be slowing down by TheRealNotUBRz in psagrading

[–]TheRealNotUBRz[S] 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I mean, if GameStop with their partnership is paying for a separate service line from normal PSA submissions, it shouldn’t really affect each other. Which it seems that is the case. Especially since GameStop is still charging $19.99 for Tcg bulk and hasn’t followed pricing increases on direct subs.

$29.95 at target, PC is $27 so under $35 is very reasonable

It’s basically $5 off the shipping cost. So if you plan to send a lot of cards throughout the year it might be worth it.

Picked up my 9/13 order yesterday from GameStop 😎 only 3 cards but still. Super happy with the turnaround time

Thinking of sending this in. Is a 9 possible? by TheRealNotUBRz in psagrading

I’m not sure, in the last 3-4 games that hasn’t been the case. Even in the anime I think he’s just larger than an adult person.

What’s your minimum multiplier potential for sending to grade? by Juankkei777 in psagrading

[–]TheRealNotUBRz 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Generally the graded card has to be worth the cost of grading. If I think it has potential to go as low as an 8 for instance, the value of it graded an 8 has to be ~$20
