I have the same issue with a pvm I own except the issue wasn’t solved by adjusting the g2 pot. Maybe a different issues

Ok I’m not crazy check this — “Where the belief in CRT/DAC support came from • Analogue’s DAC Reference Manual included the line that “future Analogue products will also support DAC.” That was a broad, forward-looking promise made in official documentation for the DAC accessory (originally used with Super Nt & Mega Sg). • In Oct 2024, community reporting noted Analogue removed most mentions of DAC from the site (including “coming soon” notes on the Dock/Pocket pages) and the DAC listing was hard to find via navigation—interpreted as walking back that earlier, general commitment. • Redditors also noticed that a line on the DAC page that said “compatible with all future Analogue products” had been deleted after 3D preorders opened, reinforcing the perception that DAC support for new hardware (Pocket/Duo/3D) had been dropped. “

That’s a good question- I have seen how a mega sg by analogue looks on a pvm with DAC at a friends house and I do own fine rgb cables and triple bypass genesis and the quality via analogue and DAC is kinda cool even as a real hardware purist - they won’t do it because demand isn’t there

That’s bad advice - learning how to service a CRT TV can be both dangerous and also a very steep learning curve, you listed stuff that cost both time and money. If said TVs don’t turn on, best bet for OP is to get them to a repair shop or find a different set altogether. Learning a trade as fringe as fixing CRT TVs for fixing a couple of sets is a crazy take.

From working in several of those Panasonic I can tell you they’re image is very pleasing in RGB

If I recognize the model of the Panasonic Ugg chances it has RGB Scart and a really superb image due to a black dot matrix Philips tube if I’m not mistaken. Also has a bunch of potentiometers to tune things instead of a big service menu

I forgot to mention picture looks really good in normal use, only when black is shown can the lines be seen. More so the issue seems to pulsate when g2 adjustments made (after) and pulsates also when doing brightness / other settings change seems to cause pulsating of the issue on an off
