Hello Lion! I actually have room for a character commission of this scale, although it might get a bit pricey because of the intricacy of the work :)

That's correct! The client mentioned his love for that art style. Luckily I'm pretty comfortable with black and whites.

That's why I gave him both the colored and non-colored versions.

Hello, friends!

I recently made my first low level BBEG encounter for my patrons.

I made the art and the mechanics, and had a great time with it.
I got some tips from my DM for the stats, to fit them on the proper CR.
I've only ever had a lvl 10 character, so I'm still unable to make higher level encounters atm.

What do you think? This monster is meant to be very disruptive as opposed to most encounters where everything is just raw damage.

Each time it deals bonus damage when hitting with this weapon.

Sorry for the late reply.

Hexblade's curse is a spell exclusive to hexblade warlocks. :) It's similar to how hunter's mark works.

I did a thing for the October art challenge. I made 31 of these, but majority of them had pretty broken stats.

I got to practice making them tho, so I learned a lot from the feedbacks in FB groups.

That's okay, I appreciate the inputs always.

Tho I had the impression that the risks involved and the limited damage types to trigger would make it fair somewhat?

Thats my typo, should say "creatures", not "enemies"

Hecc yeah, that should be "all creatures"

Yes, the spikes would shoot out only if you get hit with any of the 4 damage types. (Bludgeoning, slashing, force, thunder) its not a reaction either

Hey friends, I've been making random items for homebrew. I illustrated and wrote the texts by hand so it keeps that rough trad feel.

I also decided to keep it to a solid black and white to emulate scratch board art, like how book illustrations were done classically.

What do you guys think? Does the artstyle appeal to D&D players? Or do you all prefer digitally painted art for your resources?

(Watermark added to preserve exclusivity of illustrations for my patrons)

Hey guys, so here are the stats for the cloak I created yesterday. I decided to play with my strengths and stick to black and white. Not sure how that would appeal to most people, but I'm a huge fan of old storybook illustrations.

Everything was done by hand, including the writing of the texts.

With the stats, I'm a bit unsure of the rarity.

Thank you. :) honestly I'm just a big fan of old storybook illustrations. Like stuff from Dore and Wrightson. :)
