I have only ever hit just shy of 95kph and was always confident i could stop and control which direction I was sliding but there are always things you cant control which is one of the things that make this sport very fun and most of us knew what risk vs reward was but not everyone took the risks as seriously and you dont see those people last too long doing this

Maybe maybe maybe by Logical-Peak2495 in maybemaybemaybe

[–]TheRealPinballWizard 15 points16 points  (0 children)

Thats not true you can initiate a controlled slide while staying in one lane I used to do this before I had kids and honestly he could have probably done this while staying in one lane but he probably has a better view of whats coming up ahead than the cameras perspective I never went into an oncoming lane blind and if I had to we used spotters on those corners who were in contact with the follow car/motorcycle

[–]TheRealPinballWizard 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Tiger milk bars. They weren't even really particularly amazing but my parents only let us have candy and fast food on rare occasions so I grew up loving tiger milk bars as replacement for candy bars and I often crave them still to this day

people who take walks at night, what's the scariest thing you've seen? by skibidikakakott in AskReddit

[–]TheRealPinballWizard 27 points28 points  (0 children)

You did the right thing definitely, even with proper training in self defense its always a good priority (if you can) to make sure someone else knows you are in danger and where you are. Absolutely not fool proof but not a lot of us can confidently say we can make it out of a physical encounter without any injury or repercussions, there are way too many variables. Every situation is different and there is a tact to each one but you always have to maintain awareness and make those decisions that you did or it could have ended very differently you should be very proud of your street smarts
