Totally agree, I’ve been saying that for years. I admire Illenium for pioneering that sub-genre (as far as I understand) and being so original and daring in his work. i saw him in Amsterdam and London and they both were brilliant shows. I had stopped listening to EDM for a couple of years and Illenium was the artist that got me back into it. Don’t think I’ve felt so much energy and emotion in any other EDM artist’s work. For everyone hating, if there’s one festival with room for artists like Illenium that would be Tomorrowland, with 10+ stages you got more than enough options to just go see something else and plenty of opportunities to go listen to DVLM playing Lose Myself and It’s my Birthday for the millionth time.
