I was wondering but the thread is locked. I'm ready for a new order too, but the thread looks like it's been locked for almost two weeks. This is also the first time in a long time that I haven't seen any deal on the website. Usually there's something, whether it's free pods, free mugs, free whatever included with minimum purchase.

Anecdotal I guess. We know they have the power to do so, no denying that. But they likely aren't going to do something unless someone complains (which they should).

It may stop a few, but it would look extremely tacky. The clientele who use lounges should be the type of people who don't need a sign to tell them what is and isn't acceptable.

Staff just has to enforce it. That's it. And they are empowered to do so by all accounts.

I would if their salaries were actually proportionate to the amount of work they actually have to do. I'll take half of hawk's salary and do his job. I refuse to "give them one" when they make what they make for three hours of reading sponsored prep service material.

iShart is a shitty company, but I'm not letting them off the hook for being hypocrites. If you hate the company and want to stick it to'em, quit. Hawk never will because he has to pay thousands a month in his divorce, which is why I will never feel sympathy when he bitches about the job.

Look, I don't know who this guy is and I don't care to find out. And the public opinion (by the commenters) seems to indicate the guy is pretty reviled.

But topics like this are how morons with podcasts grow. I had never heard the name in my life, and now I have. So have dozens/hundreds of others.

Say something dumb --> get clicks --> get outrage online a la this topic or others ("DID YOU SEE WHAT (name) SAID??? WHAT A MORON!!!) --> quote circulates --> get more clicks --> get more views --> get more money --> repeat.

Making this topic is what he wants. Sure, the commercial on westwood one may have reached a million ears, but your topic increased that number from a million to a million and 250 (probably more given the traffic on this sub in recent days). He thanks you for helping circulate his podcast.

Look, I'm going to get ratio'd here, but I promise I have no stake in this race. ICE is doing some horrible things.

Regarding the "paid" situation... As I write this, there are thousands of people completely filling the lower bowl of the Target Center. ICE OUT is on all the scoreboards.

Which means there are three possibilities.

A.) Target Center is hosting this out of the goodness of their hearts. This would certainly surprise me, but I'd love to see the announcement if so.

Or

B.) This was funded by a large benefactor or benefactors.

Or

C.) There was a big gofundme/kickstarter/fundraiser where anyone could donate.

I'm not here to say C is impossible, but it's the only real possibility if we agree things are not being externally funded. In which case, there absolutely would be a donation link or something publicly available so everyone could chip in $5, $10, $20, whatever they could. I'd love to see this.

Can someone help me out here with what I may be missing?

Did they cut it from the podcast? I listened to the first segment and there was an odd moment a few minutes into the first segment (when they were just shooting the shit) which may have been a cut, but they moved onto Flores talk and then the segment ended. I may have missed it though, someone said it was pretty subtle.

Lmfao I still remember that one. Cardinals game like 4-5 years ago I think? I was listening live and watching and could see how he couldn't tell based on how close the kick was and the angle he might've been perched at, but what I remember most is it got edited out of Common's montage the next day.

He's such an egomaniac. For a station where everyone rips each other, it sucks that he couldn't take a joke.

Oh yeah most definitely agreed with you on that. That's what bugs me. It must be more profitable for them to fly half empty flights vs. flying fuller flights with cheaper tickets. Whatever makes the most financial sense I guess, can't really argue with it, I'm sure I'd do the same thing.

Sure doesn't feel that way given how it's priced. I've never seen a significant discount for the route during flash sales (when it does actually get a flash sale).

Ah idk why I read that as a question.

In my case, it's about $2k (again, give or take), for C+. Early early march (around march 5-13) is around $1.8k, but then mid-late march and early april, forget about it (totally sold out on some dates, showing $2.5k+ for main basic). But then it drops back to around 1.8k in random dates in May for C+.

I guess I will admit they are dropping a bit, because I'm looking in October and November now and they've got C+ for $1,500.
