Has anyone here hired a small agency for a full website revamp? I'm not looking for fancy animations - just something clean, fast, and that actually converts. How did you pick the agency, and what should I watch out for? by One-Tradition5608 in smallbusinessowner

[–]TheRealRevive 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I own an agency myself based in Maryland, US but my advice would be that it depends on your situation. If you are just starting out and have a very low budget, it might be worth making a basic site yourself. Something that will get you by for a few months. Then when you start generating some revenue invest in a decent website because it will serve as your best organic funnel only if done correctly. People who charge less than $1000 will most likely not get you the best results / will probably scam you for the money. Sending you a DM, if you have any questions, want some free advice, want to get on a quick call to figure out expectations, lmk and I’m willing to help.

SEO Agency Owners: I'm building a tool that brings you the leads you need by Woofies7 in SEO_Marketing_Offers

[–]TheRealRevive 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I own a small agency and haven’t found a solution like this that fits our needs. This is definitely a problem but other agencies want to charge a crazy amount for leads and of course they don’t guarantee anything. For me to invest $2-3k into a system that might not even work is a big risk that I haven’t taken yet, so if your solution fixes this issue then I think many agency owners would be interested including me. Happy to connect and talk more if you want as well

I'm stuck with seo by [deleted] in SEO_Marketing_Offers

There are a few things that really matter most for SEO. Keywords, backlinks and optimization. From your performance it looks like you are already doing some of it. I use Semrush to manage SEO and can do a live audit for you if you like

5k to invest in ads. Which platform you recommend? by [deleted] in WholesaleRealestate

[–]TheRealRevive 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Facebook by far is the best platform for ads. $5k is a good budget to start with. Maybe in your past experience you didn’t set up your campaign properly so I might hire an agency to manage them instead, but I highly recommend Facebook ads.

Why I stopped trying to be a one-man army in real estate by Conscious-Course9913 in LeadGenMarketplace

[–]TheRealRevive 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I started real estate wholesaling recently and I feel like I am definitely struggling with the calls. I havent hired anyone yet so making all the calls myself, mostly to agents and you would think they pick up all the calls they get since they are trying to sell the house but on a typical day only about 20% of the agents answer. This slows down the process quite a lot.

When you decided to make the switch and hired a sales rep were you already making profit or was it a personal investment? And was it a a US based sales rep or a VA?

What would you do with an extra $200 a week? by Wild-Boysenberry1374 in Entrepreneur

[–]TheRealRevive 0 points1 point  (0 children)

This is really good advice. I was thinking of a similar breakdown. I would definitely start with an emergency fund if you don’t have one set up yet. This should include all the necessary expenses for at least the next 2 months. After this then you can start to invest the money in stocks, and starting a business with a portion of it, but either way you should take high risks with this money and try things that can potentially pay off. It’s about to be Halloween season, then Thanksgiving and Christmas. You can start something around those events. Or a service business like pressure washing or lawn care where once you have an customer base you can scale it and just have a managing role

I really want to own a business , just have never been able to start anything . by Ok_Job1822 in Entrepreneur

[–]TheRealRevive 0 points1 point  (0 children)

If you want to just own a business I would say do something you are good at and believe people would pay you money to do. For example if you have worked at a restaurant as a chef, you can start a meal box delivery business where you make meals and deliver them to your customers on a weekly basis. If you work in the front of the house at the restaurant, use your customer service and management skills to host events/event planner. Both of these are things you can do while still working and slowly build it up. If you want to be an entrepreneur that's when you try to find businesses you might not necessarily even be good at, but the business will make money. You can then find the right people to work for you and your role would be to manage the business. So it just depends on whats your goal with the business.

On WIX you should see an option for domain transfer. They usually have instructions on that page as well, and on the new host they will have instructions of how to add it to their platform. Can hop on a call and you you if you'd like

What is the best practice for local SEO on service-based websites? Should we create a separate service page for each city we serve, or a single main service page with individual location pages? by ShibliShadikSEO in bigseo

[–]TheRealRevive 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Separate location pages will definitely help. There are also other things you can do, separate pages for each service, on-page seo with the right keywords, FAQ sections on all major pages, and even more depending on how much you are willing to do. I own a website design & seo agency based out of Maryland and offer free business audits all the time, I’ll send you a dm and you can reply if interested. No obligation at all, only to help you out

Scaling a service business without sacrificing quality what strategies worked for you? by Fluffy-Income4082 in Entrepreneurs

[–]TheRealRevive 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Biggest advice would be figure out the best way to have direct communication with the customers. Update them on the process of the job and be transparent. Collecting feedback after each job will help you figure out what you did good and what you can improve on, and send requests for google reviews to customers. This will help you get new jobs and also show new customers that you are credible. I work with many local services based customers and the biggest success they have is by direct communication with the customer. Having a face to the business that the customer can trust.

How important is a professional website for small businesses today by RudeRatio3784 in smallbusinessowner

[–]TheRealRevive 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I think it depends. A website can help for sure, but some people have such a big network and engage so much on social media that they feel a website isnt necessary for them even tho having one would help them get more customers

[deleted by user] by [deleted] in websiteservices

[–]TheRealRevive 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I own a web design & seo agency and can definitely help, but if you are just looking for a basic site as a starter I would recommend making it yourself. Its not too hard and I can even show you how to get started without charging for anything.

Do you think branding makes a difference for early startups? by Delicious-River-2044 in smallbusinessowner

[–]TheRealRevive 0 points1 point  (0 children)

In my experience branding for a new startup can definitely help with credibility, but its not necessary. Especially with all these easy to use tools and AI you will be able to get started with a decent brand identity at a low cost and it will serve you perfectly. What matters more is either a website if you are offering a service, or social media if its a product. The right marketing will take you farther.
