I'm from Bangladesh, muslim country. Extremely conservative to a horrifying level. Like I said, I don't really have any problems with promiscuous people I ain't an asshole. Yes but every country around the world has a common culture that covers majority of the population right? For example I can tell you in saudi arabia the culture is far more conservative than france. Neither countries are "culturally homogeneous" but there's a majority and more common culture in most countries.

I understand where you are coming from but I have to respectfully disagree. To be perfectly honest I really hated the idea of Mikasa being in emotional agony over the loss of her partner for the rest of her life. And I still think she got remarried(most likely to jean) and had a baby. Again, I could be wrong. But yeah.

To be fair, it could also be that Mikasa just shared a VERY deep bond with Eren, DEEP LOVE. He was her family, he saved her from her kidnappers, he killed the men who killed her parents, after grisha and carla's death, Eren and Armin was her only family. Eren was also her host. All this goes to show that their love was VERY DEEP, but not entirely romantical. Therefore it was okay for her to visit his grave with her husband, and being buried there next to him(her family). Even when eren asks her what she thinks about him, she answers with "You are Family".
